Snapchat introduces 'Snap Pixels' in a bid to capture conversion-driven advertisers

Despite having a rocky road into advertising, Snapchat are set to introduce 'snap pixels', a long awaited feature which will assist advertisers in measuring the performance of their Snapchat campaigns.

'Snap pixels' work like a piece of coding attached to the advertiser's website and will allow brands to accurately measure revenue, performance, growth and acquisition driven by their Snap-ad. This can include web visits, ticket purchases, product purchases and sign ups across a range of devices.

The pixel will also support more sophisticated targeting strategies including the creation of custom audience segments based on the way users interact with the brand's site.
